Artifizio computes the deadlines of your case across 17 procedures under the CPC, COPP, LOPT and LOPNNA, models the full tree of appeals up to the Supreme Court, and reads court files with artificial intelligence. Built by lawyers, for lawyers practising in Venezuela.
No credit card. Every feature included. Works on any device. The application interface is in Spanish.
From filing the case to the judgment, Artifizio is with you at every step of the proceedings.
Create and organise your cases with every detail: docket, parties, court, type of procedure and current status.
See all of your deadlines in a monthly calendar, with judicial recesses, public holidays and each court’s business days.
The engine generates every procedural milestone of your case automatically, respecting court business days, public holidays and judicial recesses.
Get email alerts days before each deadline falls due, with as many days of notice as you choose.
Share cases with colleagues, manage read or edit permissions, and organise your firm with user hierarchies.
Built into the Calendar tab: the firm records each court’s business days together. The partner in charge assigns permissions to the team and everyone contributes to the same calendar. Every change is audited with the name of whoever entered it.
A dedicated tab for individual and corporate clients: commercial registration details, shareholders, board of directors, client documents in secure storage, and engagement proposals with a printable PDF. Shareable with your teams.
Upload the complete record as a PDF and the AI segments it into filings, separates the main case from preliminary objections, and extracts facts, arguments and legal premises.
One click produces an executive summary of the case — overall status, recent progress, next steps and percentage complete. Download it as a PDF or email it to the client.
Add your client’s contacts to each case and Artifizio notifies them automatically when a milestone is completed or a review of the file is recorded.
Every ruling opens a different branch of the case. Artifizio models those branching points: you pick the outcome and the system materialises the corresponding milestones automatically (appeal, mandatory review, jurisdictional challenge, dismissal, and so on).
The 4 groups of Art. 346 CPC (jurisdiction, venue, curable defects, condition or term, res judicata) are implemented with their full decision tree, the CPC articles referenced, and automatic closing of the incident inside the main case.
When a judgment or interlocutory ruling is issued after the CPC deadline, the system asks you as you record the milestone and inserts service of notice on the parties automatically. Every later period is suspended until both parties are on notice (Arts. 233, 251 and 14 CPC).
4 divorce tracks modelled after the Supreme Court’s shift in doctrine: contested (grounds with evidence), judicial separation (Art. 173 CC), Art. 185-A (separation for over 5 years, filed jointly or by one spouse) and loss of affection (judgment 1070/2016 — the dominant track since 2017, non-contentious, roughly 2 to 4 weeks).
The assistant asks whether the couple has minor children and, if so, checks that the selected court is a Children and Adolescents court and issues the ordinary LOPNNA track (Arts. 450-488): admission, notice to the public prosecutor, preliminary hearing (mediation and case management) and the oral trial hearing.
Venezuelan criminal procedure with its 4 stages (investigation, intermediate, trial, enforcement), the three-way branch when the prosecutor closes the investigation (indictment, dismissal or filing), a preliminary hearing with the 8 options open to the supervising judge, and the branch for appealing the judgment. Includes summary proceedings, private prosecution and enforcement of the sentence.
For arrest in flagrante and habeas corpus the engine counts in continuous hours around the clock (the 12, 36 and 48 hours of Art. 44 of the Constitution; the 24 of habeas corpus) without discounting holidays — criminal duty courts do not close (Art. 156 LOPJ).
Models the whole appellate path: civil, employment, LOPNNA and criminal appeals; cassation with its binding doctrine (lapsing under Art. 325 CPC, mandatory remand under Art. 322, multiple cassation under Art. 323); constitutional review; standalone amparo; and avocamiento. You pick the outcome at each branching point and the system materialises the next stage automatically.
Once the judgment is final, the engine generates the enforcement track by type of order: a liquidated sum (attachment, three public notices and auction), an unliquidated sum (valuation under Art. 249), movable property (seizure), real property (eviction, with the SUNAVI gate under the LAV), and obligations to do or not to do. Includes objections under Art. 532 (3 grounds), third-party claims under Art. 546 and taxation of costs. The employment variant follows Arts. 180-186 LOPT with indexation applied of the court’s own motion.
The monitory procedure for collecting liquidated, due obligations. Supports bills of exchange, cheques, promissory notes, invoices and contracts. If the debtor objects, the system converts the case to the ordinary or summary track automatically, preserving admission, service and interim measures (Art. 652). Includes claims for professional fees (Arts. 22-30 of the Lawyers Act) for attorneys with a registered bar number.
Load your appellate court, cassation chamber and constitutional review chamber when you create the case. Each appeal is then counted against the calendar of the court that actually hears it — no more computing against the trial court once the case has reached cassation. Courts can be added by hand if the catalogue does not have them.
A selector with 7 categories (civil, interim relief, enforcement, extraordinary appeals, criminal and cross-cutting) filtered automatically by track. 25 specialised assistants for the types that have fields of their own: grounds for cassation as a multiple choice, the grounds of Art. 532, the exhaustive grounds for seizure, judicial or out-of-court fee claims, and so on.
Draft service proposals for your clients with a catalogue of services and sub-services, billable items (hours by rate), expenses and totals. Download the printable PDF with your own branding or share it with your team from the client portfolio.
Sign in with your Google account: one click and you are in, with no password to remember. If you already have an email and password account, the same Gmail address links to it automatically. Verified by Google Trust & Safety, with published terms and privacy policy.
22 fine-grained permissions per team member: milestones (mark, unmark, edit the date), incidents, court files (upload, download, delete), portfolio (client, documents, proposals), business days and sending the summary to the client. The partner in charge controls every action the team can take.
It automates the tedious part so you can concentrate on what matters: winning cases.
The system computes every procedural deadline and notifies you automatically. No more manual counting, no more spreadsheets.
What used to take hours of manual review now resolves in seconds. More time for your clients and less for administration.
More than 534 courts of metropolitan Caracas checked against the Supreme Court directory (Civil, Municipal, Children, Employment, Criminal — supervision, trial and enforcement — Superior Courts and Courts of Appeal), judicial recesses, public holidays, and the procedures of the CPC, COPP, LOPT, LOPNNA and the tenancy statutes, with the Supreme Court’s binding doctrine since 2017. It models Venezuelan law as it is actually practised, not a generic version of it.
Use it from your phone, tablet or desktop. Your data synchronises in real time, with nothing to install.
Artifizio models 17 Venezuelan procedures start to finish: time limits, court business days, rulings, procedural branching and references to the CPC, COPP, LOPT, LOPNNA and the special statutes. All of them are available to every user.
Each track implements the Supreme Court’s 2014–2017 shift in doctrine (judgments 446/2014, 693/2015, 712/2014, 1070/2016, 136/2017 and 305/2017). Where there are minor children, the assistant checks automatically that the court is a Children and Adolescents court (Art. 177 LOPNNA) and the engine issues the ordinary LOPNNA track, with its preliminary mediation and case-management hearings and the oral trial hearing.
Includes deadlines in continuous hours (the 12, 36 and 48 hours of Art. 44 of the Constitution for arrest in flagrante, and the 24 of habeas corpus) and criminal business days, where Saturdays count (judgment SCP 66/2020). 8 criminal incidents: objections, recusal, evidence taken in advance, review of interim measures, appeals against orders and against judgments, habeas corpus, and absolute nullity. Chain of appeals: appeal, criminal cassation, criminal review.
Only a practising lawyer may bring a claim for professional fees (Art. 22 of the Lawyers Act). To enable it, add your bar registration number in your Profile — it takes 30 seconds.
On top of the 17 first-instance procedures there are 21 appeal generators that attach as incidents of the main case:
Binding doctrine implemented: SCC RC-020/2021 (lapsing), SCC 125/2011 (second cassation), SCC 305/2017 (loss-of-affection divorce not appealable), SCC 737/2022 (indexation through valuation), SC 7/2000 (variable jurisdiction in amparo) and more.
